Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026.
TL;DR: we don’t run any servers. Your brew settings and history live only on your device. Anonymous advertising data is handled by Google AdMob under its own policy.
What we collect
- Brew preferences and history. Pot size, strength, last-used recipe, and a list of past brews (with the outcome you tag) are stored only on your device using local storage. We never see them.
- Approximate device language and locale, as exposed by the operating system, so dates and numbers render correctly.
What we don’t collect
- We have no servers. We do not collect names, emails, accounts, contacts, photos, location, or any personally identifying information.
- We do not run analytics or crash reporting in this version.
- We never sell or share your data, because we don’t have it.
Third-party services
- Google AdMob displays banner and occasional full-screen ads in the app. AdMob may use a mobile advertising identifier and limited device information to serve and measure ads. Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the AdMob & AdSense Personalized Ads policy.
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS only). On first launch, iOS asks whether you allow tracking across apps and websites for advertising. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” ads still display but are non-personalized.
- App Store / Google Play review prompt. After a successful brew, the app may ask you to rate it. The prompt is provided by Apple / Google and is rate-limited by the operating system.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Removing your data
All data is local. To remove it, either:
- Tap Clear on the History screen, or
- Uninstall the app — your phone removes everything.
